Ooh I found this hard. I’m a stronger reader, so I found just listening quite difficult without the text to follow. I might try and find the text so I can get along a little easier. Thanks for the challenge!

Coucou!

Really enjoyed that Maud, particularly as former 'significant other' is a French Architect. Additionally you have inspired me to learn the lyrics to Voila, a song I'm sure you know already. Gloriously French in that Piaf, melodramatic style. Voi....laaaaaaaaaaaaa Merci

Francoise Hardy is helping too. Such delightful songs from a time since passed. https://youtube.com/shorts/nBnL8tWcaJM?si=sJ4K1D1lw7YUeCv2

This was really fun to listen to, I’m so glad to have had the vocabulary before to look at. I really like this way of increasing my comprehension.

It might be interesting, as a follow up, to send us the story to read aloud ourselves. Speaking is often the hard part.

In any case, bravo! for this idea of learning.

Dear Elizabeth,

So happy you liked it, will do the part 2 this coming Sunday. About the text; I will see as its quite long and the Newsletter only support a certain length of text... I will try.

Happy that it is helping you out :)

Bonne journée et à bientôt,

Maud
